2020 Voting Information

The 2020 election is November 3. The National Federation of the Blind of Michigan is working with other stakeholders to ensure your right to vote independently and privately, both in-person and absentee. Check this page for more information.

Accessible Absentee Voting

Thanks to the advocacy work of the NFB of Michigan, you can now apply for an accessible absentee ballot for the November 3 general election. For more information, please visit the Secretary of State page on accessible voting.

Accessible Voting in Person

The Help America Vote Act provides for at least one accessible voting machine for each Michigan precinct. These machines are required to be available and accessible on election day, and can be requested by any voter. For more information [check out this guide - Microsoft Word format]
